A Pause, On Purpose šŸ¤

 Hello lovely human 🫶,

If you’ve been on my newsletter list for a while, you might have noticed something…

I’ve been a little quieter than usual since the holidays.

That’s not an accident. And it’s not burnout either.

Over the last couple of months, I’ve been running a very intentional experiment — on my own body.

I’ve been listening more closely.
Changing how I train.
Adjusting how I eat.
Using AI as a mirror and a tool.
Letting my body, not my to-do list, lead.

And honestly? Some pretty wild things have happened.

Not just physically — but in how I think about my life, my work, my future, and what I’m actually capable of when I stop forcing and start responding.

The exact advice I give my patients.....

One of those shifts showed up in a very tangible way:

Next week I’m heading to Egypt for an art retreat — a dream set in motion early last year that I didn't think was possible logistically -  that has literally manifested overnight. It feels like a direct continuation of a year where I did a lot of organizing, structuring, tightening, and standing firmly in my very capable, very practical energy.

And now?

There’s a clear pull toward creativityšŸŽØ, inspirationāœšŸ», and spaciousnessšŸ’«.

A pull to letting the sun warm my face while I paint pyramids from a boat floating down the Nile. A gift to myself to learn about a civilization I've long been captivated and inspired by. (And if you want more details it's all in my most recent podcast which you can access below šŸ‘‡!)

From an osteopathic lens, from a nervous system lens, from a TCM lens — this makes perfect sense. Balance isn’t static. It’s seasonal. It’s responsive. And right now, my body is very clearly asking for space.

So I want to name this out loud:

I’m taking a short pause from regular newsletters and weekly podcast episodes — on purpose.

Not because I don’t care (I care deeply).
Not because I’m stepping away forever (I’m not).
But because I want what I share with you to continue to be thoughtful, embodied, and genuinely useful — not rushed or squeezed in between commitments.

The holidays gave me implicit clarity for my 2026 year and behind the scenes, I’m refining and pouring my energy into my two core bodies of work:
✨ Emotional Anatomy
✨ Business School for Osteopathy (getting a makeover, and new name, very soon!)

And yes… there are some very exciting things percolating around wealth, health, and how we build lives and practices that actually feel good to live inside of. You’ll hear about those soon enough šŸ˜‰

For now, consider this a conscious inhale.
A pause that creates better exhalations later.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for letting me practice what I teach. And thank you for trusting that spaciousness is not a loss — it’s a precursor.

I’ll be back in your inbox soon, with even more clarity, creativity, and depth.

With endless gratitude for your time and interest,

Genevieve šŸ¤

Your success CAN look different šŸ…
Ā  Over the past few weeks, I’ve been sharing more about my shift into solo practice. I'm not gonna' lie.... I fought the idea of "downsizing" for a while.Ā  Probably several 10's of thousands of dollars too long.... I was straight up attached to a beautiful clinic space I had built out from the studs. I LIKED having people walk into my clinic and say "WOW!"It felt GOOD , and prestigious and suc...

Ā  One of the biggest shifts for me going from a larger clinic to solo practice? Losing my reception team. And I’ll be honest, this was not really something I was excited to "lose" For years, I had built my schedule around it: Back-to-back patients. Someone else answering calls. Someone else handling payments. Ā  Reception was essential to my practice. And I used to justify it as:ā€œIt lets me fo...
Flying Solo in practice 🪶
Ā  When I decided to shift back into solo practice, I had a whole story in my head about how it was going to feel.... šŸ’ I thought I’d miss the buzz of a bigger team.šŸ’ I thought I might feel like I was ā€œdowngrading"šŸ’ I even considered that I'd probably have to work more to make it all make sense financially. Ā  And honestly? That’s not how it played out at all. What surprised me wasn’t what I los...
